After a week in our new house...Gus just wasn't adjusting very well. We felt bad that he no longer had a back yard to run laps around in--and knew there was no way to get our back yard done this year. So he went to his new home tonight---a lady who just recently lost her husband and her black Shar Pei close together. She has alot of land where Gus will be able to run and run!
Garrett is REALLY going to miss Gus! He and Kayden have had such a great time playing with him--Gus put up with alot from those babies! He was a really good dog--and even though he drove me crazy at times--I will really miss him. But I feel really good about where he is going.

Poor Gusey!!! That picture makes me sad now that he's gone but you are right, the people that are taking him were really nice!
Poor Gus! He just has a sad little face in that picture. I haven't seen him since he had stitches in his eyes. You made the right choice---he will be much happier!
