Kayden & Garrett

We got a little snow this morning--the boys were being EXTRA crazy! As SOON as I said..."do you want to go outside??" they FREAKED out screaming with excitement. I took them out on the deck and they played for about 20 min. We tried to build a snowman--but the snow wasn't cooperating..and every time I got some of it built--they would just run over it and knock it down.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Bill!

Today we had an early birthday party for Justin's dad. We went over to Justin's parents house for a yummy dinner and cake and ice-cream. The weather was pretty nice--Justin and Colton rode over on the Harley-they said it was a little cold because of the wind, but I think they both enjoyed getting out on the bike.

Finally good weather!!

We finally had a day where we could go outside! It was really nice today so we all went outside for a little playtime! The kids all had fun blowing bubbles, kicking the ball, playing on the swing set, and coloring all over the driveway with chalk. I hope we have some more warm weather next week. They LOVED being outside!

Big Boy Bed Update...

It looks like Garrett has taken a liking to his big boy bed. Justin got him to take a nap in it on Saturday. He slept in there last night--he woke up twice and came in our room. But for the most part is doing pretty well. Hopefully we will be able to take his crib down this week???

Big Boy Bed....

We set up Garrett's big boy race car bed last night. He LOVED it!!! He climbed and jumped on it for the longest time. He thinks it is pretty cool. When it was bed time...he laid down pretty good as long as Justin or I were on the floor with him...but if we left...he screamed. This went on for a good 1/2 hour---so we put him back in his crib and he went right to sleep. I don't think he is quite ready for it yet.

It's POTTY Time!!!!

So we are trying to get Garrett familiar with his potty chair. I have asked him a few times this past week if he wants to sit on his potty chair..."NOOOOOOO" he always tells me. So today with the help of dad...we bribed him with a sucker, a juice box, root beer and daddy's phone--all while watching Sponge Bob and The Wiggles. IT WORKED!!! He sat there for a good 20 min. I'm hoping we can get him to do this a few times a day...and maybe get him to go just once.

Parent Teacher Conference

We had Colton's parent teacher conference last night--and as always he did FABULOUS!!!!! Mr.Fisher said that Colton was an Excellent Reader, Excellent at Math, and doing great on his keyboarding. He is also a good example to the other kids and is a good leader. It is always so fun to go to hear how great Colton is doing!

Scouts!

Colton had scouts tonight. The boys had alot of fun! The activity they did was to trace the outline of their body and then make it into the person they wanted to be when they grew up. They each took turns explaining who their person was.
