Garrett's new things.
Garrett "officially" started crawling today--on his hands and knees. For months now he has been army crawling to get around the house and has done so well at it. This last week he has been slowly crawling--maybe 4-5 steps and then falls and army crawls the rest of the way. But now he does it full time!
He also got his 2ND tooth in today--on the bottom. His top two teeth are bulging really bad! I would expect that they would be coming in soon--but with the long hard time he had getting the bottom ones in---the top will most likely take awhile. Which is fine with me--because I know it will change his baby look.
He is thinking he is a really big boy now by pulling himself up to the windows and playing with the blinds, and playing with the buttons on the TV.

Time for Cake!
Happy 1st Birthday Garrett!!!
Garrett is all ready for his guests to arrive!!
One cake for Garrett...One cake for the rest of us.

Eating a little lunch

Today is Garrett's 1st birthday! He was SOOO excited that he refused to take a nap! We all ate taco's and chips. Then had some yummy Glaus cake and ice-cream! Garrett was in HEAVEN with his very own birthday cake! It was hilarious to watch him dig in! Justin tried to take a little taste and Garrett SCREAMED at him! He went straight to the bath tub after. Then Colton helped Garrett open all of his presents--you could tell he was on a major sugar high---and was soooo tired!!! After presents he went straight to bed. Hopefully he can get a little nap in before we leave for the JAZZ game. Happy Birthday Garrett!!!!

Garrett got a package in the mail on Sat. from Andrea and Tyler. No WAY we could wait a whole week to open it....
He got this cute shirt that he is wearing in the picture and a cute blue/yellow short outfit that I can't WAIT to put on him...as soon as it warms up just a touch. Thanks Tyler and Andrea for the cute clothes and the AWESOME card!!!
Just 3 more days til Garrett's birthday party! We are so excited!

Let's Go Racin Boys!!
Tonight was Colton's first Pinewood Derby Race. After weeks of painting, sanding, painting and sanding some more. A new set of axles, graphite, graphite and more graphite--the #3 derby car was done and ready to race.
Colton won every race but 3---he lost to Tyson every time he raced him. (Tyson is the scout masters son...and his mom was the one who weighed in the cars hmmmm.....) But it was SOOO close every time. He almost beat him the 2ND race. All the kids commented over and over about how SHINY Colton's car was. Colton had so much fun, and it was so fun for us to watch him. Justin was sad he was in Portland--but we kept him updated throughout the race.
Colton won 2ND place--he got a ribbon and picked out a big box of mints from the treat bag. It was a great night!!! Great job Colton!!!
Garrett's First Haircut!!
In his car...ready for his haircut!
Such a big boy!
All done and so handsome!
Kayden didn't care for the clippers!

I swore I was going to wait til Garrett was at least 1 to get his first haircut--but after he mashed banana in his hair again this morning because his hair was in his eyes--I decided it was time.
I met Stacey at Cookie Cutters and we got both babies hair cut. Garrett did awesome! I was afraid he was going to freak out. We picked out Elmo for him to watch on the TV, and picked out the coolest car for him to sit in. He just sat there like a big boy. I had her take about 3-3 1/2 inches off the top, and then just trim up the sides and back. When he was all done it looked pretty curly! It is the cutest! I was also afraid it might totally change his look into a big boy--but it didn't. He looks so CUTE!!! After he was done he got a sucker and a balloon.
