Merry Christmas!

We were lucky this year...the boys didn't wake up til 7:15!! They had a great time seeing what Santa had left for them. Garrett was a little under the weather but still had so much fun! Colton got new motorcycle boots, video games, a gift card for more games, and clothes. Garrett got a shopping cart with food, cars, trucks, tools and clothes.

After we opened gifts we went to Justin's parents house for breakfast and more presents. Grandma and Grandpa Olsen stopped by later that day to see what the kids had got. It was a GREAT day!

Christmas Eve

We went to my parents house on Christmas Eve. We ate yummy food, the kids played a fun game, decorated ornaments and then opened presents. They all had such a good time!!!

Colton's School Christmas Party

I am a bit behind on posting.... Before Colton went off track the first week in December his class had a little Christmas party. They had a snow ball fight with paper, built a snowman out of that paper, listened to stories. After the games we had a fondue bar with hot chocolate and apple cider. The kids had a great time!!

Santa!!!

We took a trip to see Santa last Saturday. I was a little worried how it would go--last year didn't go so well. Garrett was pretty cautious and didn't know quite what to think. Santa was awesome and talked to him a little before he sat him on his lap. Santa asked Garrett what he wanted and he said cars and candy. Colton was a good sport to sit on Santa's lap.
The pictures turned out pretty cute.

Thanksgiving

This year we went to my parents house for Thanksgiving. All of my family were able to make it as well as my Uncle Gary and his family and my Grandma. We had a great time eating, chatting and eating some more. The kids had a great time running crazy all over the house.

Garrett's New Bed

We moved Garrett into a bigger bed last night--hoping that he would sleep in it all night..and it WORKED!!! For the last 3 plus months Garrett has snuck into our room at some point during the night and slept on our floor. Let's hope this does the trick!!

Good Job Colton!!

Today we had Parent Teacher Conference with Colton--he did FABULOUS as usual. He got straight 4's (90-100%) in all areas. Mrs.Hagmaan said that Colton is one of her best students and wishes she had more kids like him.
Good Job Colton!!! Keep up the AWESOME work!!!

Pinewood Derby

Colton had his Pinewood Derby last night. He did AWESOME!!! Took 2nd place!! Two years in a row now! He was sooooooo close to beating Keaton!! They had alot of fun racing his car.

New Carpet!!

The carpet for the downstairs family room has arrived!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!! More space for the kids to run around in--and a place to put some of the toys that are taking over the house.

Colton's Party

Today we had Colton's birthday party. We had some pizza, then played some games, ice-cream cake and then presents. Then the kids headed off to Colton's room to play some guitar hero. It turned out to be a really fun day! Happy Birthday Colton!
