Nerds!!!

Garrett got into the pantry and got out a box of Colton's Nerds. I'm just happy there wasn't a whole lot left in the box. As I was trying to sweep them up---he was picking them up as FAST as he could and eating them.

Kelly's Baby Shower.

Saturday we had a baby shower for Kelly--my youngest brothers wife. We had the party at my moms house with lots of yummy food and treats. She got a stroller, car seat, lots of blankets, diapers and wipes, a crib set and some clothes. I think that she got alot of really great things for cute little baby Conner who is due to come around July 5th. We can't wait!!!!

Colton got a new motorcycle today!
He LOVES it!

Cheetos Anyone??

Garrett decided that he wanted some Cheetos....

Garrett's 2 Year Check Up!

Garrett had his 2 year check up today. Dr. Bean said that he is doing FABULOUS!!! He is 90% for weight, height and his head measurement. His body and weight has finally caught up with his head. ha ha His head is no longer off the chart.
She said that she thinks he is quite advanced for his age because he knows some of his colors and shapes. I was happy to hear that! No shots today which I was thrilled about! So he is good to go for another year.

Happy Birthday Garrett!!!

We had Garrett's 2nd birthday party on Saturday. I was hoping the weather would be really nice---we got lucky to only have a few sprinkles. We had an Easter egg hunt first...the kids of course loved this! I had quite a few eggs in the back yard for them. Garrett and Kayden did pretty well...Garrett was nice enough to dump his entire bucket of eggs into Kayden's bucket for him..and then went searching for more.
We ate some lunch, cake and ice-cream and then the fun presents. Garrett got alot of great stuff that is SURE to bring some great fights this week between him and Kayden.
I have lots of pictures....

Colton's new piece of hardware.

Colton got his new retainer tonight. We have been going to see the orthodontist for about a year now..he has just checked his teeth to see if/when we should do anything. Two weeks ago he said that we could get him a retainer, and if Colton wore it like he should...then hopefully he wouldn't need braces down the road. Soooo hopefully that is the case. This retainer is MUCH cheaper then a set of braces!!!
So far I think that he is o.k. with it and thinks that it is pretty cool. We will see how he feels about it in a week when we have to tighten it.

Colton's Easter Party!!

Today we had a little Easter party for Colton's class at school. The kids always LOVE any kind of party. We had wanted to to an egg hunt--but of course the weather didn't cooperate. So we put together a few games, a craft and of course a treat--the kids all had a great time.
