All Stars

Last week Justin went to Washington DC for the Jiffy Lube All Stars Competition. There were 3 teams from across the nation that were competing. The Herriman store won the Western Division Championship and ended up finishing 2ND in the nation at All Stars. Pretty awesome!!

Painting

Garrett painting with water paints. He LOVED it! And it wasn't quite as messy as I thought it would be. He was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of his finished picture!!!

Scouts

So I'm a bit behind in posting....
At pack meeting this month Colton got a bunch of badges!! He received his Bear badge, 4 badges for his belt and 3 other badges for passing things off at Scout Camp. His shirt is getting pretty full of badges!

You would think....

that I would learn to put things like an "open bag of mini marshmallows" on a shelf where Garrett could not reach. I was in reading the paper and heard Garrett saying "MMMMMMMMMM" this is what I found.

Colton Starts 4th Grade!!

Colton started the 4th grade today!! His teacher is Ms.Hagmann. Garrett and I walked him to where his class was to line up and he found his friend Brandon. We didn't go in and meet his teacher--they usually have back to school night in the first few weeks after school starts.
Colton said that his teacher was really nice! She has planned a fun activity for every Friday after lunch for all of those kids who have completed all assignments and have handed in all of their homework. Colton was really excited about this. He has 19 kids from his old class who are in his new class---so he knows most of the kids in his class which is good. I think it will be a great year for Colton!!!

Weekend

Saturday afternoon we went up to Justin's boss' cabin to stay the night. We wanted to do something fun before Colton headed back to school on Monday. The boys had a great time riding on the 4-wheelers and just hanging out at the cabin. Here are a few pictures.
