Colton starts 3rd grade!!!

Colton started 3rd grade today at his new school Oakcrest Elementary, his teacher is Mr.Fisher. He was a little nervous going to a new school and not knowing ANY kids--but he makes friends fast and I'm sure he will have a GREAT day! We went and found his classroom where we saw that each student has their very own computer!! Colton was VERY excited about this! Mr.Fisher's wife was there busy trying to get things ready--so we helped her pass out pencils, crayons etc. to each desk. He only has 21 kids in his class which I am VERY happy about!!! I hope that he has fun today and can't wait to hear all about his day when he gets home.

Justin & Allissa's Concrete Business

Justin and I decided that we would do the cement pad for the hot tub---started out to be a good idea. 3 days and 30 bags of concrete later..... but it is all done and looks pretty good. I don't think we will be doing any of the other concrete in the back yard. But this will all be covered up by the hot tub---so it will be fine.
***UPDATE*** Thanks to Justin and Danny--the hot tub is all wired up, filled and heating right now! We will be able to sit in it tonight! YIPEE!!!

Scout Camp for Colton.

Colton went to scout camp Monday and Tuesday--they left about 8:00 am and came back about 3:30. Here are some of the fun things they did. Shot BB guns, bow and arrows, found fools gold, made Indian hats, carved things out of soap.

They each got some money to go to the trading post--there they had lots of different things they could buy. Colton bought a pocket knife and a few other fun gadgets. He had a really great time and can't wait to go next year.

Memory Lane....

I got this from Stacey's blog...thought it would be fun.

MEMORY LANE- This will be fun! This is just too fun to pass up. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad, but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Garrett's Check-Up

Garrett had his 15 month doctor appointment today. And as no surprise to us--and as you can see from this picture....he is in the 95 percentile for weight and 90 percentile for height and his head was off the charts--she said he needs a big head for all of that hair. I really don't think it is THAT big---but??

He only had to get 1 shot today--and he did really good, he only cried for a few seconds--as long as it took me to put a M&M in his mouth--then he was all good.

His appointment went great---we go back in another 3 months.

Happy Anniversary!!!

10 years ago today Justin and I were married! It seems crazy to me that we have been married for that long--it just doesn't seem like it.

We were married at Heritage Garden's in the morning--we had pictures, an early luncheon, and then a reception. We spent the rest of the day at home opening presents and relaxing. It was a VERY hot day--and I was really glad that we started everything early. We had a few pictures done outside--but not many because it was so hot!

No big plans for tonight--we are going to hang out at home and BBQ steaks and watch a movie with the boys. Should be fun!

Happy Anniversary Justin!!! Here's to 10 more!!

Colton and Garrett got a delivery today--the CUTEST cookie bouquet from Tyler and Blake in California. The cookies are so cute! I hate to open it and eat any--but of COURSE we will!

I tried to get a picture of the boys with them...but Garrett kept trying to get into the cookies.

Thanks again guys!!!!
