Hello this is Onstar...what is your emergency??

Ok...so luckily we didn't have to call Onstar. Yesterday Justin moved his truck back in the garage and Garrett wanted to ride with. Justin got out of the drivers side to walk around and get Garrett out of the other side and Garrett had clicked the locks...with the keys inside. ha ha Justin came in to find the other set and I went out to take a picture. Garrett was in there saying "open...open...open" it was hilarious.

Soaring Eagle Award!

Tonight Colton's school had a special night for all of the students in his school who received the Soaring Eagle Award. For Colton's grade in order to receive the award they had to complete 13 of 15 tasks. Some of them they completed in school and some they had to do at home. There were almost 400 students who received the award tonight--the principal said it was the most he has ever seen.
After he received the award they had cookies, cake and juice for everyone.

Lagoon!!

We went to our yearly visit to Lagoon this weekend with Justin's company. Stacey and Bruce were out of town on the MDA Harley ride--so we had 4 kids with us this year. It was nice because Colton had a riding buddy. I thought Garrett would have one too...but Kayden HATED the rides!!! He went on two and cried the entire time. ha ha

It rained most of the morning--by the time we got there it had stopped--but all the seats were soooo wet. As hard as I tried to wipe the seats down---Garrett's pants were SOAKING!!! Plus... Garrett and Kayden found some rain puddles and had soooo much fun stomping in them. The weather started getting nice just as we were leaving--the babies were wet and grumpy and in a need for a nap. I think they all had a pretty good time.

Happy National Donut Day!!!

Today is National Donut Day!!! So we took a trip to Dunford Donuts and got a dozen of their yummy chocolate donuts. They are soooo good!!! After lunch Garrett and Kayden split a donut. Kayden of course threw his on the floor--Garrett ate a few bites of his and was done.

Scouts!!

Colton had pack meeting last night and got caught up on all of his awards. He received his Wolf award and 4 silver arrows. He really enjoys going to scouts each week! They do alot of fun activities!

He is getting excited for Scout camp next month. Justin and I are planning on going up for one day. It should be alot of fun!

Jam...and LOTS of it!!

I'm a little behind on my postings...but last Sunday my mom came up and taught me and Stacey how to make strawberry jam. It was sooooooo EASY!!!! Even I managed to do ok... with just a few issues....
