Santa's Little Helper
Justin recruited Garrett to help him wrap some gifts tonight. It was hilarious!! Justin would wrap them and then have Garrett color on the tag and put it on the gift. Then Garrett would carry them over to the tree--the first few were pretty easy. The last two were hilarious. One box he could barely carry--but he did it. (I think it was my present full of jewelry!!!!!)

Visit with Santa.
Before we went to The Festival of Trees, we stopped at the mall for a visit with Santa. Garrett broke out of his stroller while we were waiting in line--he had fun playing with all of the gadgets they had.
I KNEW that Garrett was going to throw a fit as soon as I put him on Santa's lap. So I warned the girl and poor Santa before. Sure enough...as soon as Santa took him and Garrett looked up at who was now holding him...he started SCREAMING and arching his back, trying to do whatever he could to get down. Santa told the girl that he didn't think this was going to work. She took a few quick pictures and I hurried and saved poor Santa. Santa told me that Garrett was "REALLY strong". I think he wanted to tell me he was a BRAT!!!! Hopefully Garrett can redeem himself in the next few weeks--enough to get a few gifts from Santa.

I think the picture speaks for itself....

Festival of Trees
Today we went to The Festival of Trees with my mom, Stacey and Kayden. We got there a little after 11:00 and it wasn't too crowded--I thought it would be alot more busy for a Saturday. There were alot of pretty trees this year. Here are a few pictures.

You can't see this one very well...it was a NASCAR tree.
All of the riding in the stroller, Christmas music and the smell of cinnamon rolls in the air put Garrett right to sleep.

Colton's School Christmas Party.
Today Colton's class had their Christmas party. Since his class goes off track tomorrow--they did the party early. Another mom and I put together some fun crafts/games for the kids. We started off making a cute reindeer--which ended up taking most of the time. They also made a snowflake ornament which had their picture in the middle. And also decorated a bag to put their crafts in to give to their mom & dad for Christmas. They finished it all off with a cupcake and juice. We didn't have time for the games--so they are going to do those in the morning. I think all of the kids had a really fun time.
Thanks again Vicki for watching Kailey, Kayden and Garrett while I helped with the party!!

Scouts!
Colton had a pack meeting Tuesday night. He should have gotten quite a few badges but I think they are still in the transition stage with his last leaders. So hopefully they will get him all caught up soon! He has now moved to a Bear--he has gone to 2 meetings with his new group and has had alot of fun.
At pack meeting they made kaleidoscopes and decorated sugar cookies. Here are a few pictures.

The pictures are a bit out of order--but here is the finished cookie.

Motorcycle Update
Since someone has been bugging me to put an update on the blog about his motorcycle....
Here is an updated picture of Justin's Harley. I think he has worked on it just about everyday since he got it. I don't know the details of what he has done to it---I know it has a new back fender, and some new lights. I guess I should have taken better notes.
He has taken it out for a few quick rides this past week...getting his skills ready for Sturgis next year.
