Valentine's Day!

Garrett's first Valentine's Day was today! We got a TON of snow that blew everywhere--so Colton's school started 2 hours late. So we made some french toast..which was a HIT with Garrett...he ate 1 whole piece. Then we made our Valentine cookies which again...Garrett loved! We made Garrett a cute little sack for his 3 Valentines.

Scouts!

Colton got his first badge last night at Scouts. He got the Bobcat Badge. He was sooooooo excited! This was the first award dinner. We all ate lasagna, salad and rolls, then they gave out a few badges and then we ate ice-cream. It was a really fun night! We also found out that his first camp is coming up in July. He was SO excited to hear about that! I'm not sure how I feel about him going overnight.....at least I have a few months to prepare myself.

Growing Garrett!!!

Garrett is almost 10 months old now! He is getting so big and growing up so fast! He is 25 pounds and about 30 1/2 inches long...(it wasn't the easiest thing to meausure him) He still hasn't figured out how to crawl yet...we have tried to help him by putting him on his hands and knees but he gets soooooooo mad and SCREAMS!!! I know he can see Kayden crawling and wants to go---he will get on his tummy and try and try to move---he gets frustrated really fast and then just rolls to where he wants to go. He is so much like his daddy...doesn't have alot of patience. He also crys whenever Kayden crys...sympathy for him I guess.

Double Trouble!!

The babies are getting VERY mobile these days! Garrett hasn't figured out how to crawl yet...he just rolls and spins 360's on his tummy to get where he wants to go. He is FAST and is into everything! He loves to roll into Colton's room and causes MUCH trouble! His stay there is short because soon after he gets there...Colton carries him right back out!

Kayden is crawling all over the house and climbing everything he can! He is a monkey! They both LOVE to get into Gus' water--so that had to be moved to the closet where I can shut the door! I have to put them in baby jail a few times a day to keep track of them! I thought having 2 babies would get easier....not sure what I was thinking! They really have fun playing all day and for the most part get along. They seem to fight over one toy more than any other....the Jimmie Johnson car---but can you blame them?

Kayden turns 1 next month...something you DON'T want to discuss with Stacey! (She is in denial..a place I will be in April) It is so crazy to me how fast they are growing up.

Garrett is still loving to eat anything--including treats he finds on the carpet!!! So NASTY! No matter how much I try and keep it clean--he always seems to find something good. He is really loving people food more than his baby food. He ate almost an entire quesadilla the other night. He loves rice, spaghetti, yogurt, cheese, fish crackers-- just about anything you put in his mouth. If he sees you with food...he lets you know in a hurry that he wants some.

Colton got a digital camera for Christmas and has been taking ALOT of pictures--I downloaded 63 the other day! ha ha But he is getting really good! Here are 2 that he took last week.

Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas morning started about 3:30 am with Colton in his room with the door wide open playing video games! We told him more than once to turn it down---around 4:15 Garrett woke up--and then it was over and we were pretty much up for the day! Colton got the IPOD he has been wanting and Garrett was of course more interested in the paper.

Colton was baptized and confirmed by his Uncle Seth. Seth did such a great job!! Colton was so excited to be baptized! Grandma Kathy, Grandpa Scott, Grandma Vicki, and Grandpa Bill all participated in this very special day for Colton! Colton's friend Kaylee Sandberg played the piano and did such a fabulous job! Afterwards everyone came back to our house for lunch. Everything turned out really nice!
